I waited for this book from the library with bated breath. I read his first book, Cold Mountain, and loved it.
This book is a bit of a chore. I am only now skimming it to read the good/interesting parts. Sadly, I cannot recommend my first book on this reading blog.
I finished the book today, Sun, July 22. NOT worth reading, or even skimming to the end.

Oh that's to bad. Doesn't it make you wonder how the author can write such a good book, and then tank on the next one?
